Who needs it?

I’ve been teetering between vegetarian and vegan on and off since the beginning of the year but recently I fell off completely and had an intense craving for milk and meat, which I feel is a product of a deficiency because prior to the relapse (and currently) I have missed an entire ..cycle. (sorry boys)

My questions are directed to experienced long time vegans and raw vegans who are practicing a more high carbohydrate, low fat diet.  like eat to live or 811. I feel terrible about my slip up of animal product binging and I’m embarrassed but If I cant be honest then I cant get help, right?

Let’s examine my diet,  Shall we?

I do not consume caffeine.

I avoid grain carbohydrates and starch.

I was eating a lot of nut fats. (raw nuts, almond butter.)

I do not consuming much processed soy (tofu)

I eat decent portions of fruit daily.

I mainly eat low sodium, the only toppings or sides I use are salsa or hummus and I don’t use salted seasonings to cook with

I sometimes cook with coconut oil.

A daily menu for you =D

Breakfast

: 1 cup oatmeal,1 or 2 apples or two servings of other fruit, 1 small handful chopped raw walnuts and sunflower seeds, 1 tbs ground flax.

Usually I’m not hungry until lunch so

LUNCH!

Usually a half of a bag of romain hearts topped with a half of a can of low or no sodium beans, and a few thin wheat crisps. and 3 large slices of watermelon.

again, not too hungry until dinner.

Dinner is usually just a ton of unseasoned broccoli and cauliflower

Then the meat cravings kick in late at night, I crave red meat and milk and cookies and total shit food lately!  What the hell gives?

So. my questions are..

1. Do you ever crave meat?

(I know that it sounds like an asshole thing to ask but I need honesty.)

2. How do you avoid fatigue?

(what supplements do you take?)

Ladies… Do you ever miss a month..?

I’d like to hear more specifically from raw foodists who mainly eat raw fruits and veggies. I can study dietary health and listen to a thousand Guru’s and Dieticians but I would like to hear from real people about what works for them about anything you can think of.

Myths about fruit rotting teeth and making you fat. I want it all.

has any of this happened to you?

Oh and so we’re clear, I am not talking about “Dieting” I am talking about changing my diet so I can be healthy and have energy, I love being active, losing some jiggle wouldn’t hurt but that’s not my focus.

AND

For anyone who doesn’t support vegetarian living,  I know that the effects that animal products have on my body are negative because I feel 100% times better when I am not consuming animal flesh or secretions.

So please, keep your comments to yourself.

Thank you guys!
